The alarm clock hits 6:30 AM, but for me, the day really starts with the hiss of the kettle. As a domestic electrician for WB Electrics, no two days are ever the same, but they all begin with the same goal: making sure the lights stay on – and the people of Swindon stay safe.
After a quick cuppa and a check of the day's jobs on my phone, I'm out the door and into the van. The van isn't just a vehicle; it's a mobile workshop. It’s packed with everything from rolls of cable and RCDs to a myriad of tools, and of course, a healthy supply of tea bags – a non-negotiable for any British tradesperson!
